New WhatsApp update out for iOS users

When it comes to rapid and safe communication or sharing photographs with friends and family, WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is the go-to software.

The instant messaging app periodically adds new features or updates existing ones in order to improve the user experience.

Although if users can transfer media with ease, there is still a drawback to using WhatsApp for media sharing because photos lose quality when sent in photo format.

WaBetaInfo claimed on Sunday that WhatsApp is developing a new function that will guarantee sending photographs in their original quality and resolution.

This new function will be regarded as a significant improvement and enhance the user experience when sending photographs for the desktop beta of the instant messenger.

According to the WhatsApp news tracker, the functionality is still in development and not yet ready to be made available to beta testers.

“Users will be able to send photos in their original quality, maintaining their resolution and clarity, thanks to this feature. Compared to the existing picture compression that takes place while transferring images, this is a significant improvement. No longer will users be concerned about their photographs’ resolution or quality when transmitting them “that app tracking website asserted.
