Sabrina Carpenter has soared to new heights, smashing records with her latest songs.

The American singer, hailing from Pennsylvania, recently made history on the UK charts, as reported by the Official Charts Company. She became the first female artist to occupy both the number one and number two spots on the singles chart for three consecutive weeks.

Her current hit “Please Please Please” claimed the top position this week, while her previous single “Espresso” maintained a strong hold at number two.

Previously, only The Beatles had achieved a similar feat in the 1960s, and more recently, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran had also dominated the charts with multiple top spots.

Interestingly, despite “Espresso” having slightly more streams last week (7.1 million) compared to “Please Please Please” (7 million), it held the second position.

Both tracks are set to be featured on Carpenter’s upcoming album “Short ‘n Sweet,” slated for release in August.
